The second and final World Cup disruption to the Royals\u2019 schedule is coming this week.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

And it\u2019ll give the team an unusual day off Friday. You rarely see teams have a scheduled day off on a Friday, but it\u2019s because the Ghana-Colombia Round of 32 match will take place that day at Arrowhead Stadium.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Royals will have a fireworks show on Saturday night for their Independence Day game against the Phillies. On Sunday, the Royals-Phillies game will begin at 2 p.m. because it will only be available as a streaming option on Peacock.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

So it\u2019s not a typical week\u2019s worth of games for the Royals or their fans.<\/p>\n
