\n\tOn the heels of a record $133 million in revenue last year, global esports<\/a> company Blast<\/a> has opened a new headquarters in New York City and announced plans to further expand \u201cbeyond traditional esports into broader opportunities across gaming, creators, sports, live experiences and digital-first fandom.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tSince its founding in Denmark in 2016, Blast has grown its business to include partnerships with major publishers including Valve, Epic Games, Riot Games, Ubisoft and Supercell. The company has offices in Copenhagen, London, Berlin, Malta, Mumbai and New York City.<\/p>\n \n\tOver the last 16 months, Blast has hosted seven tier-one esports events in the U.S. across Austin, Fort Worth, Boston, Raleigh, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, which have generated \u201csubstantial economic impact\u201d for host destinations, including more than $102 million from the 2025 BLAST.tv Austin Major, per the company.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Blast\u2019s U.S. business expansion will be led by Blast chief business officer Leo Matlock, who recently relocated to New York, alongside Blast\u2019s SVP of brand partnerships Steve Rossi. In total, the U.S. team has now grown to eight full-time employees.<\/p>\n \n\tLocated at 45 Main Street in Brooklyn, the Blast\u2019s new U.S. headquarters is based within a shared 55,000-square-foot office space. The company says this new hub will serve as Blast\u2019s \u201ccentral base\u201d for partnerships, live events and commercial growth across North America.<\/p>\n \n\tAccording to financials provided by the Blast to Variety<\/em>, the privately held company delivered more than 40% year-over-year revenue growth last year ($133 million in 2025 vs. $93.7 million in 2024), \u201cwhile remaining profitable and continuing to invest in its global expansion.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn 2025 alone, Blast\u2019s broadcasts delivered more than 2 billion live views globally and 300 million hours watched across live events in 22 cities worldwide via a network of 29 broadcast partners and online platforms. <\/p>\n \n\tBlast says it expects to host 15 arena events across 13 cities and three continents this year, including the return of the Rocket League World Championship to Fort Worth in September 2026.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cCompetitive entertainment has become one of the fastest-growing sectors in global media because it combines community, technology and live experiences in entirely new ways,\u201d Blast CEO Robbie Douek said. \u201cThe next generation of fans want entertainment that feels participatory, social and global by default.
