Loved ones gathered to say a heartfelt final goodbye to Darrell Sheets<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Family and friends met in Huntington Beach on Monday, June 29, for a celebration of life ceremony in honor of the late reality TV star, who died two months ago at the age of 67.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was an honor to be a part of Derrell\u2019s Celebration of Life yesterday,\u201d Sheet\u2019s former Storage Wars<\/em><\/a> costar Dave Hester<\/strong>, who was among the attendees, wrote via Facebook. \u201cThank you Brandon and Kimber for having me, it was wonderful spending time with you and everyone who loved Derrell. RIP Derrell Sheets. YUUUP! #StorageWars #OriginalProductions #AETV.\u201d<\/p>\n Sheets shared two children, son Brandon Sheets<\/strong> and daughter Tiffany Sheets<\/strong>, with his ex-wife, Kimber Wuerfel<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Fellow Storage Wars<\/em> star Casey Nezhoda<\/strong> shared her own thoughtful message along with photos captured during the event, including a commemorative plaque that featured Sheets\u2019 birthday, date of death and the note \u201cRide in Peace\u201d engraved on a memorial display case.<\/p>\n Inside the display was a photo of Sheets, who was famously nicknamed \u201cThe Gambler\u201d on the A&E show, currently in its 18th season. Sheets was a regular fixture on the series, appearing in 163 episodes from 2010 to 2023 and becoming known for his catchphrase, \u201cThis is the WOW factor!\u201d<\/p>\n He went on to launch his own business called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.<\/p>\n Sheets was found dead on April 22 when officers responded to his Arizona home<\/a>. The Mohave County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office in Arizona later confirmed on May 5 that his cause of death was ruled a suicide.<\/p>\n \u201cOn April 22, 2026, at approximately 0200 hours, officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Chandler Drive in reference to a reported deceased individual,\u201d the Lake Havasu City Police Department said in a statement to Us Weekly<\/em>. \u201cThe male was pronounced deceased on scene, and the Lake Havasu City Police Department\u2019s Criminal Investigations Unit was notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n Police in Arizona also revealed that claims Sheets was bullied online before his death<\/a> are still being looked into.<\/p>\n
