Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s wedding is the event of the summer, but Prince William<\/strong><\/a> and Princess Kate Middleton<\/strong><\/a> apparently won\u2019t be among the guests in attendance.<\/p>\n

Despite speculation about the royal couple possibly traveling from England to the United States for the upcoming nuptials<\/a>, People<\/em><\/a> reported on Tuesday, June 30, that William and Kate, both 44, will not be at the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.<\/p>\n

The Prince of Wales initially sparked interest as to whether he and Kate were on the coveted wedding guest list in May when he played coy about Swift, 36, and Kelce\u2019s highly-anticipated nuptials.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Swift and Travis Kelce are remaining tight-lipped when it comes to their highly-anticipated upcoming nuptials \u2014 but that hasn\u2019t stopped, well, the world from grilling their nearest and dearest friends for any and all wedding details. Ever since Swift and Kelce got engaged in August 2025 after two years of dating, the celebrity world [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When asked during an appearance on Heart Breakfast<\/em><\/a> whether he\u2019d received an invitation, William replied, \u201cNo comment.\u201d He added a cheeky smile, which prompted the studio to break out into laughter.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m hoping, and I\u2019m sure there might be an invitation around, but we\u2019ll see,\u201d the prince added, adding fuel to the speculation that he and the Princess of Wales<\/a> could make a surprise appearance at the U.S. ceremony<\/a> rumored to be taking place at Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n

While William didn\u2019t reveal any more information, he noted that his daughter, Princess Charlotte<\/strong><\/a>, was \u201cobsessed\u201d with Swift. (William and Kate share Charlotte, 11, and sons Prince George<\/strong><\/a> and Prince Louis<\/strong><\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Although William and Kate appear to be staying put across the pond over the 4th of July weekend \u2014 Swift and Kelce\u2019s wedding is reportedly taking place on the holiday weekend \u2014 William\u2019s friendship with the Grammy winner goes back more than a decade.<\/p>\n

The future king of England met Swift in 2013 at the Centrepoint Winter Whites Gala at Kensington Palace, where the duo joined Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong> onstage for an impromptu rendition of \u201cLivin\u2019 on a Prayer<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

When William celebrated his 42nd birthday<\/a> in June 2024, he decided to do so in style by attending Swift\u2019s Eras Tour<\/em> with George, 12, and Charlotte at Wembley Stadium in London.<\/p>\n

After the show, William and his eldest children hung out with Swift and Kelce, 36, who was also in the crowd<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,\u201d Swift wrote via Instagram at the time, sharing a group selfie.<\/p>\n

Although William and Swift\u2019s friendship timeline won\u2019t include her wedding, there are going to be plenty of A-listers supporting her when she says, \u201cI do\u201d with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna go to Taylor\u2019s wedding,\u201d Suki Waterhouse<\/strong> told Variety<\/em><\/a> in May, confirming she will be watching her longtime friend walk down the aisle.<\/p>\n

As the date approaches, however, little is known about who is for sure invited to the wedding and where it will be amid reports that the couple plan to get hitched at MSG in New York on Friday, July 3.<\/p>\n
