Actor Daveigh Chase, who voiced Lilo in \u201cLilo & Stitch\u201d and starred as Samara in the horror classic \u201cThe Ring,\u201d died of AIDS, according to a report<\/a> filed by the Los Angeles County medical examiner. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The agency listed \u201cchronic polysubstance<\/a> use,\u201d or using multiple drugs over a short period of time, as a \u201csignificant condition.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The medical examiner also said the death was considered \u201cnatural.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Chase died in an L.A. hospital earlier this month at the age of 35. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Chase shot to fame as a child actor, providing not just the voice of Lilo in the Disney film and TV series but also voicing Chihiro in the English-language dub of the Oscar-winning animated film \u201cSpirited Away,\u201d widely considered one of the best animated movies of all time<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Her role in \u201cThe Ring\u201d won her a \u201cbest villain\u201d award at the MTV Movie & TV Awards in 2003.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She also starred in the HBO series \u201cBig Love,\u201d among other roles. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
