A royal expert has revealed how Prince Harry “smashed” the Royal Family’s circle of trust, putting King Charles in a “difficult position” over his upcoming return to the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Sources have revealed Charles felt “forced” into meeting Harry the last time they spent time together, at Clarence House in September last year.<\/p>\n
The Duke of Sussex’s willingness to open up in interviews and in his memoir Spare has led to the monarch feeing wary about his son’s impending visit.<\/a><\/p>\n The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be visiting the UK with their children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, between July 6 and July 10 in a rare return trip as a family.<\/p>\n “(Charles is) not a bad man. He’s not an uncaring man. He loves his son, but his son has put him in a very, very difficult position,” Rebecca English, royal editor at the Daily Mail, told the publication’s Palace Confidential podcast.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cHe has betrayed a lot of family intimacies. I don’t want to use the word ‘secrets’, but it’s certainly intimacies.”<\/p>\n “There’s a very small circle of people (the Royal Family) can trust and once you’re in that circle of trust you remain in (it) and Harry has smashed that with a hammer,” Ms English added.<\/p>\n In Harry’s infamous memoir, Spare, he landed several attacks on his family.<\/p>\n He alleged Charles did not hug him when Princess Diana died and branded Queen Camilla a “villain”, “dangerous” and a “wicked stepmother”.<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the book, he claimed there was a rift between Meghan Markle and Princess Catherine, and said his brother Prince William had once knocked him to the floor.<\/p>\n Harry, Meghan and their two children will be embarking on the UK trip to attend the One Year To Go Invictus events in Birmingham.<\/p>\n They have also reportedly been invited to stay at\u00a0Buckingham Palace by Charles.<\/a><\/p>\n The trip will be the first time they have returned to the UK as a family in almost four years, however, there are three members of the royal family who are not happy with the visit.<\/p>\n Camilla, William and Catherine have reportedly been left “raging” over Harry and Meghan’s upcoming transatlantic trip.<\/p>\n
