Seth Rogen and Olivia Wilde played “Lie vs. Lie” on Entertainment Weekly<\/em>‘s YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Rogen recounted an awkward encounter that he had with Pharrell Williams at a dinner party.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n The music superstar took issue with some of Rogen’s Lion King<\/em> interviews.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Pharrell Williams<\/a> once wasn’t too happy with Seth Rogen<\/a>.<\/p>\n In Olivia Wilde<\/a>‘s new A24<\/a> film The Invite<\/em><\/a>, Wilde and Rogen star as a longtime married couple who have a wild evening after welcoming their neighbors (Edward Norton<\/a> and Pen\u00e9lope Cruz<\/a>) over for a dinner party. And while playing “Lie vs. Lie” on Entertainment Weekly<\/em>‘s YouTube channel, Wilde asked Rogen what is the most awkward moment he has experienced in such a setting.<\/p>\n His surprising answer was an incident with Pharrell Williams<\/a>, a collaborator on 2019’s The Lion King<\/em><\/a>. Rogen voiced the friendly warthog Pumbaa, and their beef came from his work with the music superstar on the film’s soundtrack, on which Williams was a producer.<\/p>\n “I sing in the movie, and I had been doing interviews and talking about how Pharrell Williams got really frustrated with my singing,” Rogen shared. “And then I was at a dinner, and Pharrell was there, and he was like, ‘Hey, I don’t like how you suggest that I got frustrated with your singing.’ I was like, ‘You did.’ And he was like, ‘I don’t like you suggesting that I feel frustration.'”<\/p>\n Both men refused to back down, with Rogen telling Williams, “You’re feeling it right now, Pharrell.
