Despite their ups and downs, The Real Housewives of Orange County <\/i>star Gina Kirschenheiter<\/b><\/a>\u2019s ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter<\/b>, will definitely score an invite to her upcoming wedding<\/a> to Travis Mullen<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we get married, Matt and Britt will 100 percent be at our wedding because they are family, that is truly why,\u201d Gina, 42, exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i>at the RHOC <\/i>season 20 premiere party on Tuesday, June 30, in Los Angeles, referring to her former spouse and his new partner. \u201cThey\u2019re so excited for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gina, who was married to Matt from 2010 to 2019, announced in January that Mullen proposed on New Year\u2019s Eve <\/span><\/a>after six years together. (Gina and Mullen each have children from their previous marriages.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen transformed into Orange County\u2019s modern Brady Bunch after sparking a romance in 2019. When fans met the Real Housewives of Orange County star, she was married to Matthew Kirschenheiter. The duo, who share sons Nicholas and Luca and daughter Sienna, initially separated in April 2018 after eight years of marriage. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cObviously, [Matt and Britt are] going to be at our wedding,\u201d Gina stated to Us. <\/i>\u201cI know it kind of sounds weird and icky, but to me Matt is like my brother-in-law, and Britt kind of feels like my sister-in-law.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cWe\u2019re just truly family, and my children would want all of their parents at such a big event and a big moment for the family, so they will 100 percent be there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Much like the Bravo cameras, however, Matt and his girlfriend weren\u2019t present when Mullen got down on bended knee.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt really was amazing. We were in Big Bear, California. We were on this little ski trip that I took with the kids, and he took me [to dinner],\u201d Gina gushed to Us <\/i>of Mullen\u2019s proposal. \u201cWe do fancy dinner night, that\u2019s our New Year\u2019s Eve tradition. We get dressed up, we cook this big meal, and we always have to take a family photo. He\u2019s like, \u2018You know, I think we should take the family photo on the back deck, because there\u2019s these cute little string lights. Can you please come check it out and make sure that we\u2019re going to be able to get this photo done?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Gina, noticing the dark night sky amid a rainstorm, initially thought the weather wouldn\u2019t hold up for the photo session.<\/p>\n

\u201cI go out there, and I actually started to laugh at him because I was like, \u2018It\u2019s so dark \u2026 there\u2019s no way we\u2019re getting this photo done,\u2019\u201d she recalled. \u201cAnd then, the next thing you know, he\u2019s down on his knee, and I just kind of blacked out. I was in such shock that this was actually happening, and he just said a whole bunch of beautiful things to me, and then he just asked me to marry him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGina Kirschenheiter and ex-husband Matt Kirschenheiter have prioritized an amicable coparenting relationship \u2014 which will extend to a future wedding ceremony with her boyfriend, Travis Mullen. \u201cOh my gosh, honestly, they would definitely be there,\u201d Gina, 39, exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, September 5, of Matt, also 39, and his girlfriend, Britt. \u201cI don\u2019t [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She added, \u201cI really love that he kept that moment private, probably a little ballsy too, right? It was, like, a month before we started filming. Like, that was ballsy, but that\u2019s my man, my ballsy man.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Gina was glad her engagement wasn\u2019t captured by RHOC <\/i>cameras, the jury is still out for their big day.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so early. I don\u2019t think a wedding on TV is my vibe,\u201d she acknowledged on Tuesday. \u201cIt\u2019s a weird territory, [and] it\u2019s tricky because I\u2019ve shared so much of my life. I didn\u2019t think that me going to jail was going to be something I wanted to put on TV, or those bad tracks, but you\u2019ve seen all that, you\u2019ve come this far. At least [our wedding is] a happy moment, but I just don\u2019t see us as that kind of couple.\u201d<\/p>\n
