She sued Brown over the incident in 2021.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">While Brown accepted some liability for negligence before the trial, he disputed the extent of Maria\u2019s injuries and argued that she was partially at fault for the incident, per <em>Billboard<\/em>.
