\u201cBoth dads know 100 [percent] damn right that Taylor\u2019s a GREAT mother!\u201d Liann wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, June 30, hours after news broke that Taylor\u2019s ex-husband, Tate Paul<\/strong><\/a>, filed for a restraining order and requested sole custody of their two children.<\/p>\n

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em><\/a> star shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 6, with Tate, whom she was married to from 2016 to 2022.<\/p>\n

Liann claimed, \u201cTrying to keep them away from her is only going to hurt my grandbabies! They LOVE their mommy more than anyone or anything in this world & they both know it!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Frankie Paul\u2018s ex-husband, Tate Paul, has filed a restraining order against the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star. According to documents viewed by Us Weekly, Tate, 32, filed a motion for a temporary restraining order in a Utah court on Tuesday, June 30. A hearing has been requested. The exes, who were married from [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Liann\u2019s comments are seemingly a response to Tate\u2019s legal action, she also appeared to put Taylor\u2019s ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen<\/strong><\/a> on blast amid their own legal battle. (Taylor also shares son Ever, 2, with Dakota, 33, whom she had an on-again, off-again relationship with for years.)<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to attorneys for Tate and Dakota for comment.<\/p>\n

Liann\u2019s pointed statement featured a photo of Taylor embracing all three of her children.<\/p>\n

Taylor and Tate notably split after being involved in a \u201csoft swinging\u201d scandal that was a controversial topic on SLOMW<\/em>. Taylor later revealed that she broke her and Tate\u2019s rules by sleeping with another man.<\/p>\n

While Taylor and Tate\u2019s marriage came to an end shortly before she publicly confessed to their \u201csoft swinging\u201d ways in 2022, she exclusively told Us<\/em> earlier this year that they were cordial as they coparented their two children in Utah.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just respect his privacy a lot, and I know that\u2019s what he likes,\u201d Taylor said in her March cover story<\/a>. \u201cBut he and I have always been really good friends and [have a] very healthy coparenting relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Less than four months later, the exes\u2019 dynamic has seemingly taken a turn for the worse.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAs Taylor Frankie Paul\u2019s alleged domestic dispute with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen continues to make headlines, her marriage and divorce from ex-husband Tate Paul has been thrust back into the limelight. Taylor, 31, was married to Tate for six years before they divorced in summer 2022. Taylor announced their split during a viral TikTok video where [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Us<\/em> confirmed on Tuesday that Tate filed a motion for a temporary restraining order<\/a> against his ex-wife. According to documents viewed by Us<\/em>, a hearing has been requested in a Utah court to sort out the motion.<\/p>\n

Tate also filed a petition to modify the terms of his and Taylor\u2019s divorce and custody agreement, with TMZ<\/em> reporting that he is requesting sole custody of both Indy and Ocean.<\/p>\n

Tate\u2019s legal actions transpired just days after Taylor\u2019s ex-boyfriend Dakota<\/a>, with whom she is entangled in a custody dispute, called the Bluffdale Police Department with questions about their protective order.<\/p>\n

The Bluffdale Police Department confirmed to Us<\/em> on Monday, June 29, that Dakota had called the authorities<\/a> at around 10 p.m. on June 26.<\/p>\n

Dakota inquired about the protective order that he and Taylor have regarding their son Ever\u2019s visitation, specifically about who can help with drop-off and pick-up arrangements, per the police. Dakota has asked whether the protective order had been violated.<\/p>\n

The officers told Us<\/em> that they made contact with Taylor via a phone call and gathered statements from all involved before sending the case to the District Attorney\u2019s office to decide if there\u2019s been a violation.<\/p>\n

Dakota\u2019s call to the police comes just months after his and Taylor\u2019s relationship woes were thrust into the spotlight following a domestic violence dispute in late February. According to court documents obtained by TMZ<\/em>, Dakota claimed that Taylor choked him and shoved him into a window.<\/p>\n

He further alleged that Taylor was \u201cemotionally volatile\u201d and he was fearful for the safety of their son. Taylor has denied the allegations of child abuse.<\/p>\n

In March, Dakota was granted temporary custody of Ever<\/a> as well as a temporary restraining order against Taylor.<\/p>\n

Taylor, for her part, was granted a protective order against Dakota after claiming that he assaulted her in his truck<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A judge ruled in April that the exes have to stay at least 100 feet away<\/a> from each other and Taylor would have supervised visitation of Ever.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, a judge ruled that Taylor no longer needed supervised visitation<\/a> while spending time with her and Dakota\u2019s child. The judge also allowed Taylor to have her son on alternate weekends and one midweek day as long as the child does not spend the night.<\/p>\n
