Sara Foster<\/strong><\/a> revealed her music mogul father, David Foster<\/strong><\/a>, did not set up trust funds for his kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think people think my dad is, like, a billionaire. I don\u2019t know what they think,\u201d Sara, 45, said during the Wednesday, July 1, episode of \u201cThe Morgan Stewart Show\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cMy dad is very successful, let me be clear. But my dad has had many wives, he has many children. We don\u2019t have a trust fund.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sara noted that it\u2019s an \u201cabsolute privilege\u201d that she has a \u201csafety net\u201d if things go wrong.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll never be on the streets, you know what I mean? That is privilege, 100 percent, knowing you have that, but we don\u2019t have a trust fund,\u201d she continued. \u201cMy life is paid for by me. I think that people have this misconception that we have some unlimited cash flow situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cTrust me, I wouldn\u2019t be doing half the things I do \u2014 I think \u2014 if I had unlimited resources.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhile Hollywood is full of \u201cnepo babies,\u201d some celebrity kids paved their own path without the financial help of their wealthy parents. Madonna\u2019s son David Banda raised eyebrows when he joked in July 2024 that he couldn\u2019t afford food. \u201cIt\u2019s lovely to experience it being nine o\u2019clock at night, me being hungry and realizing that [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to Sara, \u201cI am rich, you are poor,\u201d is the one thing that David, 76, would always tell his kids. (David is the father of daughters Allison, 56, and Amy, 53, whom he shares with ex-wife B.J. Cook<\/strong>. He welcomed Sara, Erin, 43, and Jordan, 40, with second wife Rebecca Dyer<\/strong>. David and wife Katharine McPhee<\/strong> share son Rennie, 5.)<\/p>\n

\u201cHe made it very clear. He said, \u2018Once high school comes \u2026 once you\u2019re done, you have two options. You can go to college, I will pay for your college,\u2019\u201d Sara recalled. \u201c\u2018If you do not go to college, you are on your own.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Sara did not go to college, so she opted to make her own money.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere during Wednesday\u2019s episode, Sara discussed her current stream of income. She and sister Erin made a profit during the second year of running their clothing brand, Favorite Daughter, which launched in late 2020.<\/p>\n
