Frankie Muniz<\/strong><\/a> and wife Paige Price Muniz<\/strong> <\/a>are getting divorced after six years of marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cFollowing a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage,\u201d Frankie, 40, captioned a joint Instagram video<\/a> on Wednesday, July 1, sharing a \u201clife update.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frankie and Paige, 33, were dancing to We The Kings\u2019 \u201cCheck Yes Juliet\u201d in the video, which featured their 5-year-old son Mauz.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter 10 beautiful years together, we\u2019ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents,\u201d their statement continued. \u201cWe share an incredible son who remains the center of our world, and we\u2019re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we\u2019ve shared.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frankie wrote that he\u2019s \u201cendlessly grateful\u201d to his estranged wife for the part she\u2019s played in his life.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe put her own dreams on hold so I could chase mine, and she was always my biggest supporter,\u201d he added. \u201cThat foundation of respect and friendship isn\u2019t going anywhere. We\u2019re excited to keep building Muniz Racing together and to co-parent our boy with the same teamwork and love we\u2019ve always had.\u201d<\/p>\n

The caption concluded, \u201cWe\u2019re closing one chapter with gratitude and opening the next with bright futures ahead, for us as individuals and especially for our son. Thank you for the love and support. We both choose to not entertain any questions on this matter. Please respect our families privacy during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frankie and Paige started dating in 2016. They were engaged by 2018 and said \u201cI do\u201d the following year. The former couple expanded their family with son Mauz in March 2021.<\/p>\n

Frankie spoke with Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively earlier this year, revealing that it\u2019s been \u201cvery hard\u201d to balance his personal life<\/a> and career.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, my wife is a saint,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cShe\u2019s sacrificing so much for me to live my dream.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frankie noted that he has a \u201chard time\u201d being on the road 300 days out of the year for both racing and acting.<\/p>\n
