Southern Charm <\/em><\/a>star Shep Rose<\/strong><\/a> explained how his ayahuasca journey allowed him to reconnect with ex-girlfriend Taylor Ann Green<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got a lot of time on your hands and your mind is certainly wandering,\u201d Shep, 46, said while discussing his experience during a Wednesday, July 1, appearance on SiriusXM\u2019s Page Six Radio<\/em><\/a>. \u201cThey say you\u2019re holding a mirror up to yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ayahuasca is a hallucinogenic drug, which is illegal in the United States. South American cultures, however, see it as a spiritual, social or medicinal process that allows for deep emotional healing and trauma release.<\/p>\n

Shep recalled going \u201cthrough this spiral\u201d and reflecting on his two-year relationship with Taylor, 31, which ended in 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe loved me so much and she cared about me so much and I took it for granted and I care about her and her family very much,\u201d Shep admitted. \u201cThankfully, that relationship stayed somewhat connected.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shep also hinted that Taylor is \u201ca little bit back\u201d in his life. However, he couldn\u2019t share too many details, presumably because Southern Charm<\/em> is currently filming its 12th season.<\/p>\n

The Bravo star noted that he\u2019s \u201cvery pleased\u201d to be able to say that he\u2019s in a good place with Taylor after the ups and downs they experienced.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought it was [a] gone forever situation, which I\u2019ve never really had before. I\u2019m, at least, on nice terms with my exes,\u201d Shep continued. \u201cWe spent so much good time, so much laughter, so much adventure and intimate moments and lovely things.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cIt\u2019s hard for me to understand how not to honor that with whether you want to call it nostalgia or what have you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor made headlines last month when she was spotted filming<\/a> Southern Charm after leaving the Bravo series in April 2025 following season 10. Instagram account Bravo & Cocktails posted a photo of Taylor filming alongside Salley Carson<\/strong> and Rod Razavi<\/strong> on June 15.<\/p>\n

\u201cSally, Taylor and Rod stuck in the ATL airport overnight with cast trip filming,\u201d the social media post read. \u201cThis was taken at 1 am. Sally is in the white with red but I didn\u2019t get a photo of her bc was trying to be subtle.\u201d<\/p>\n
