As his relentless pursuit of justice ignites fear, admiration, and controversy throughout the city, law enforcement races to uncover the man behind the mask while the public becomes divided over whether he is a dangerous outlaw or the hero the system has failed to be.<\/p>\n

\n\tWe hear that the project\u2019s development has also benefited from the guidance of producer Terminator 2: Judgement Day <\/em>and Total Recall <\/em>producer Mario Kassar<\/a>. Jenkins also produces with Malek Hanna. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEvery major character believes they\u2019re fighting for what\u2019s right, even when they\u2019re standing on opposite sides. That emotional truth, combined with the film\u2019s action, humor, and adventure, is what makes this such an exciting story to bring to life,\u201d he adds. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Gunfighter<\/em> is more than an action film,\u201d said producer Hanna. \u201cIt\u2019s a character-driven adventure that explores the timeless struggle between justice and vengeance while delivering the kind of humor, heart, and cinematic excitement audiences have always loved. Our goal is to create a film that\u2019s both commercially entertaining and emotionally meaningful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCasting is being led by Justin Nesbitt, who recently served as an executive producer on The Leader<\/em>, starring Vera Farmiga and Tim Blake Nelson, which premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Festival. VFX will be led by 2x Oscar nominee and 2x BAFTA Award winner Habib Zargarpour (Perfect Storm, Twister<\/em>) and his team.<\/p>\n
