What more do you need? Ballard will be taken over for three days this weekend with the Ballard Music & Seafoodfest. Get ready for lots and lots of yummy seafood, electric live music, a vendor market, a Salmon BBQ, a lutefisk eating contest, a kids deck, a beer\/cocktail garden, and more. <\/p>\n West Seattle Summer Fest. <\/a><\/strong>Get ready for three days of fun in West Seattle this weekend. This annual Summer Fest will feature music, beer garden, shopping, food, a kids’ zone, a Sunday farmers market, and more. <\/p>\n Beacon Arts Street Fairs.<\/a><\/strong> A street fair is held every second Saturday this summer through September in Beacon Hill. July’s is a garden party celebrating “the bounty of our gardens with flowers, fruits, and more.” <\/p>\n Wallingford Parade.<\/a><\/strong>This 74th annual parade in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood is a beloved tradition featuring marching bands, drill teams, floats, and community groups. This year’s theme is “Grow Big Dreams.” “Wallingford has played host to the longest-running Seafair community event, the Wallingford Parade.”<\/p>\n Skagit Valley Highland Games. <\/a><\/strong>This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Skagit Valley Highland Game. What began as a small, passionate gathering has grown into one of the region’s most beloved Celtic festivals, drawing thousands of visitors, competitors, musicians, dancers, and families each year. The event features Scottish Highland athletics, piping and drumming competitions, Highland dance, sheepdog demonstrations, clan tents, vendors, food stalls, and a lively children’s area.
