You’ve been following the royals, you’ll know a little bit about the sort of security that they would expect. How alarmed were you about these threats?”<\/p>\n
Chris responded: “Do you know what, I’ve heard Harry talk about the threats before, but actually, to see them in detail in the way that we now have is actually quite something.”<\/p>\n
He went on: “Harry was promised a review of his security and one hasn’t happened. Now, he says, ‘Why hasn’t one happened? Look at this report. Look at all the threats on there.’<\/p>\n
“When people say, ‘You left the Royal Family, you don’t deserve to have any public funded protection,’ his argument is, ‘This is what happens when I’m in the UK.’ And in other parts of the world, for example, I was with Harry in Ukraine not so long ago, he gets the full protection of President Zelensky’s office.<\/p>\n
“But when he’s in the UK, he’s been told next week when he comes here, he gets the phone number of a police liaison officer… You can’t really square that circle very well.”<\/p>\n
