Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor has graduated from university, watched by her parents.<\/p>\n

The King\u2019s niece has completed her studies at St Andrew\u2019s University and will now take a gap year.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old\u2019s degree was in English and international relations. She followed in the footsteps of the Prince and Princess of Wales, then known as Prince William and Catherine Middleton, in attending St Andrew\u2019s.<\/p>\n

She will work, volunteer and travel before settling on a career. She is not a working member of the Royal family, but has expressed an interest in the military<\/a>, having spent time in the St Andrews University Officers\u2019 Training Corps as a cadet.<\/p>\n

On Friday, she will also receive her gold Duke of Edinburgh Award in a ceremony at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, presented by her father, Prince Edward<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The awards were founded 70 years ago by Prince Philip, and Prince Edward \u2013 who now holds the title of the Duke of Edinburgh \u2013 has been involved in promoting the awards for 40 years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
