\u2014The World Museum of Mining will host Miney\u2019s Shift Change<\/strong> from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays. Designed for children 10 and under, the weekly event gives children a chance to learn, play, explore, and discover the people and places that made Butte one of the most important mining communities in the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2014A weekly summer program, Shift Change for Adults<\/strong>, is hosted from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesdays at the World Museum of Mining, 155 Museum Way. The program gives visitors a chance to enjoy the museum at a relaxed pace, hear from local speakers, ask questions, share memories and reconnect with the stories that helped shape Butte and the modern world. The cost is $5.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2014If you knit, crochet or craft, join the\u00a0Loosely Knit Club<\/strong>\u00a0that meets 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday at the Butte Public Library, 226 W. Broadway St. Bring your own projects in a fun and supportive environment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2014The Butte-Silver Bow Public Library\u2019s weekly\u00a0\u201cCooking the Books\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0class is at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. The class is on the library\u2019s third floor at 226 W. Broadway St. The local food featured this month is sheet pan meals with chicken, onions and rhubarb. No registration is needed. For more details, call the library at 406-792-1080.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2014The Covellite Theatre at 215 W. Broadway St., will have Open Mic<\/strong> from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesday. Kane O’Neill hosts the event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2014All ages and abilities can join the Butte Chess Club<\/strong>, which meets from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Butte-Silver Bow Public Library, 226 W. Broadway St.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2014Butte Community Market<\/strong> is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Clark Park. More than 20 local small businesses will be on hand selling crafts, baked goods and other handmade items.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
