In an exclusive interview with Cosmo, the Summer House<\/a> and Traitors alum revealed why she feels uniquely qualified to cohost Aftersun alongside Tefi Pessoa, and it\u2019s because she knows exactly how it feels to have your romantic choices scrutinized by an audience who doesn\u2019t have the full story.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t sit here on a pedestal analyzing this show,\u201d she says. \u201cI sit here as someone who can relate to them and who sees them. The audience sometimes kicks you when you\u2019re down, and they lift you when you\u2019re up. It\u2019s a roller coaster, and it\u2019s confusing, especially to be in your 20s. I took this position and wanted this opportunity because I wanted to bring the human experience to reality TV.\u201d<\/p>\n Ciara herself joined Summer House in season 5 when she was just 24 years old. \u201cMy brain developed on reality TV,\u201d she continues. \u201cYou have to keep yourself grounded, but it\u2019s not an easy experience. So I\u2019m here to give a perspective into the nuances of reality TV and what filming is like, and what being in front of the camera is like, and the pressure that it involves.
