Princess Kate<\/a> has a whole lot of “love” for tennis but also for her fans.<\/p>\n\n

The future queen<\/a>, 44, arrived at Wimbledon Thursday, July 2, hugging and posing for photos with crowds attending the historic tennis tournament. Her appearance is the latest in a string of royal engagements<\/a> in what is shaping up to be another busy summer for the royal family.<\/p>\n

The princess opted for a double-breasted bright blue suit and styled her hair into a chic ponytail, dazzling crowds who cheered when they saw her on day four of the tournament.<\/p>\n

As many hopefuls lined up outside the venue in a last minute bid to secure a place to watch the tennis, Kate surprised them \u2013 dishing out tickets in the morning sun.<\/p>\n

Wimbledon reserves a handful of tickets for same-day purchase, with some fans camping out the night before in Wimbledon Park in a bid to get their hands on a pass.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Princess of Wales chose not to sit in the royal box, instead she sat alongside former British tennis players Tim Henman, Andy Murray and Anne Keothavong and watched the match unfold on Court 18 between Britain’s Arthur Fery and Finland’s Otto Virtanen.<\/p>\n

Kate is a regular at Wimbledon and an avid tennis fan. She has a passion for sports and the outdoors and is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club \u2013 a role she has held since 2016, when Queen Elizabeth II stepped down and passed the baton to Kate.<\/p>\n

Kate’s appearance at Wimbledon came just days after she scaled the three highest peaks in Great Britain to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity<\/a>. The princess completed what is known as “The Three Peaks Challenge” in 24 hours, braving the wind and rain to reach the top. Last year, the princess shared that her cancer was in remission.<\/p>\n\n

Kate kept is casual as she climbed the peaks, wearing minimal makeup, a hooded jacket and plain clothing. She was almost unrecognizable \u2013 though her huge sapphire engagement ring may have provided some royal clues.<\/p>\n\n
