Wolf Alice<\/a> have released \u2018Gospel Oak\u2019 from a new set of \u2018The Clearing\u2019 B-sides and announced their Finsbury Park stage times for this weekend.<\/p>\n

\u2018Gospel Oak\u2019 is the first of three songs from a new 7\u201d B-sides package, with \u2018Hammond Song\u2019 and \u2018Hit The Sky\u2019 set to be released digitally over the coming weeks. The three tracks will get a physical release on August 21, on the first anniversary of \u2018The Clearing<\/a>\u2019. Pre-order it\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0release of\u00a0\u2018Gospel Oak\u2019\u00a0comes just days\u00a0ahead of their huge homecoming show at Finsbury Park this Sunday (July 5), where they will be joined by\u00a0The Last Dinner Party<\/a>, Lykke Li<\/a>,\u00a0Rachel Chinouriri<\/a>, Keo and\u00a0Florence Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Taking its name from the North London area just up the road from Finsbury Park, \u2018Gospel Oak\u2019 is a delicate, piano-led number that was inspired by folk songs and songs \u201cwe all learn at school\u201d, according to frontwoman Ellie Rowsell.<\/p>\n
