A GoFundMe has been set up to support Love Island USA<\/i> executive producer James Barker<\/strong>\u2019s family after his sudden death<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re raising funds to help cover the costs of honoring James\u2019 life with the celebration he deserves, as well as mortgage payments on the home he shared and adored with his partner, monthly bills, legal fees and taxes,\u201d the GoFundMe campaign<\/span><\/a> stated after launching on Wednesday, July 1. \u201cIf you\u2019re able to contribute, thank you. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the immediate financial strain so his loved ones can focus on grieving and honoring his truly extraordinary life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The page\u2019s organizer also asked supporters to share the page with others as a \u201cmeaningful way to help.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Barker died while the show\u2019s eighth season was filming in Fiji.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Love Island franchise has mourned the deaths of some of the show\u2019s most beloved islanders over the years. Love Island, which premiered in the U.K. in 2002, follows a different group of singles every season who pair off in order to stay in the show\u2019s luxury villa. The franchise has since expanded worldwide, with [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cJames\u2019 unimaginable loss has been deeply felt across not just the entire Love Island USA<\/i> production, but throughout all of ITV and Peacock. He was a beloved and greatly valued member of our collective family whose kindness, talent and dedication left an indelible mark on all of us and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with him,\u201d ITV America and Peacock said in a statement to Us <\/i>on June 15. \u201cWe extend our heartfelt condolences to James\u2019 partner, family, friends and colleagues.\u201d<\/p>\n

Love Island USA<\/i> later paid tribute to Barker<\/span><\/a> at the end of the June 16 episode with a message that read, \u201cFor James. We love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Barker\u2019s cause of death has yet to be revealed, the GoFundMe page stated that the TV producer died \u201cfrom an unpreventable and tragic sudden death\u201d on June 12.<\/p>\n
