He&#8217;s following it up next month with <em>I Wander<\/em>, a new EP designed as one standalone piece of music but also divided into six tracks.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What\u2019s the difference between a song, a track, a work, a piece?&#8221; Djrum writes. &#8220;I am interested in playing with these distinctions\u2026<em>I Wander<\/em> can be digested in bitesize chunks, or taken as a whole. Each track tells a different story on their own, but taken as a whole, a different narrative is revealed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Intriguing! The first preview we&#8217;re getting from I Wander is &#8220;I Wander (IV + V),&#8221; the only track on the EP to include two segments of the piece. It flows together so well that I&#8217;m not sure why it&#8217;s labeled as two separate movements, though there&#8217;s certainly a change in tone as the track moves along. The combination of frenetic beats and meditative piano in the opening moments here is sublime.
