Today<\/a><\/em> co-anchor Al Roker<\/a> is celebrating his granddaughter Sky<\/a>\u2018s major milestone \u2014 her third birthday \u2014 in adorable new photos shared on social media.<\/p>\n On Friday, July 3, the longtime NBC meteorologist, 71, took to Instagram<\/a> with a slideshow of snapshots of Sky through the years as she officially turned 3.<\/p>\n \u201cThree years ago, at 11:41am, Sky Clara Laga came into the world and made it juuuuust a little bit brighter,\u201d Roker captioned his update. \u201cHappy Birthday, my smart, beautiful, funny granddaughter.\u201d<\/p>\n The first two pictures featured the doting grandfather holding a newborn Sky, with the images gradually transitioning to what she looks like today. Sky is the child of Roker\u2019s eldest child, daughter Courtney Roker Laga, 39, and her husband, Wesley Laga. He welcomed Courtney with his late ex-wife, Alice Bell<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n In the comments, Roker\u2019s followers joined him in wishing Sky a happy birthday \u2014 and many couldn\u2019t help but point out how irresistibly cute she was in the photos.
