Well, last week gave us an INSANE amount of new music (I sadly didn\u2019t realize until after I posted our weekly coverage that the full albums by American Aquarium, Rat Boy<\/strong> and Bike Routes<\/strong> had dropped \u2013 be sure to check those out).<\/p>\n Thankfully, due to the Independence Day holiday, this week is a lighter as far as new albums. The ones out that I definitely want to highlight for you is the latest from indie power popper Ryan Hamilton<\/strong>, and piano rebel rock n\u2019 roller Low Cut Connie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Indie rock kings Dinosaur Jr. <\/strong>announced a new album this week, and gave us the first taste of it. Man J. Mascis<\/strong> still RIPS on guitar. Another legend in the alternative space, Peter Gabriel<\/strong>, has dropped his latest full moon track, and alt pop star Gayle<\/strong> has returned with a hooky new bop. Got another great one from New Jersey\u2019s Jared Hart<\/strong>, and a surprising collaboration between melodic pop rockers Snow Patrol<\/strong> and dance-pop queen Kylie Minogue<\/strong>. Bryan Adams<\/strong> takes a stand on his righteous new track, and indie soul group Los Coast<\/strong> continue to make every single count. <\/p>\n We also have new singles from The Sleights, The N.S.O.,<\/strong> CR & the White Lights, Fly Right<\/strong>, Figures on a Beach<\/strong>, Taylor Bickett<\/strong>, Michigander<\/strong>, Stanley Simmons<\/strong>, Jack Kays<\/strong>, DMA\u2019s<\/strong>, Deep Purple<\/strong> and Billy Morrison<\/strong>.<\/p>\n And the new names you\u2019ll find this week on the list include Thimble<\/strong>, Saturn, World Famous Pets<\/strong>, Selfish Things, D.B.<\/strong> Tait,<\/strong> Major Spark<\/strong>, Chess Club<\/strong>, Nathan Coutts<\/strong>, Weatherell, The Falls<\/strong>, Bone-Idle, TX2<\/strong> and Ian Prowse<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
