THE RUNDOWN<\/strong><\/p>\n Zo\u00eb Kravitz stepped out on her own this afternoon in New York City for her friend Taylor Swift\u2019s wedding at Madison Square Garden, wearing<\/a> a sheer, gold-embellished long-sleeve midi dress. Her fianc\u00e9<\/a>, Harry Styles\u2014who dated Swift<\/a> over 13 years ago\u2014was missing for a good reason. The British singer was invited, Variety<\/em><\/a> revealed, with sources sharing that he unfortunately couldn\u2019t make it due to his Together, Together Tour. Styles is performing tonight<\/a> at Wembley Stadium in London and will be playing there tomorrow, too.<\/p>\n Swift and Styles are on good terms<\/a> these days and have even been photographed chatting at awards shows in recent years.<\/p>\n In 2021, a source spoke to Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> about the evolution of their relationship. \u201c[They] have been cordial and fine for a while now,\u201d the insider said. \u201c[Taylor and Harry] have both really matured since they dated and respect each other\u2019s careers.\u201d<\/p>\n The two singers briefly dated in 2012 and 2013. The relationship had its ups and downs, which seemingly inspired Swift\u2019s 1989<\/em> songs \u201cOut of the Woods\u201d and \u201cStyle,\u201d among other tracks.<\/p>\n In 2015, Swift spoke<\/a> about the muse for \u201cOut of the Woods\u201d during a performance at the Grammy Museum. She said:<\/p>\n The number one feeling I felt in the whole relationship was anxiety. Because it felt very fragile, it felt very tentative. And it always felt like, \u201cOkay, what’s the next road block? What’s the next thing that’s gonna deter this? How long do we have before this turns into just an awful mess and we break up? Is it a month? Is it three days?\u201d And so, you know, I think a lot of relationships can be very solid and that\u2019s kind of what you hope for, for it to be solid and healthy but that\u2019s not always what you get. And it doesn\u2019t mean that it\u2019s not special and extraordinary just to have a relationship that\u2019s fragile and somehow meaningful in that fragility.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Styles was later asked about the speculation Swift penned songs about him. He had kind words<\/a> for his ex, telling Howard Stern in March 2020, \u201cI think about what it means to me to write a song about somebody else and for somebody else to do that, it\u2019s like flattering, even if the song isn\u2019t that flattering, you still spent time on it and ultimately, using Taylor as an example, she\u2019s a great songwriter. So at least they\u2019re good songs.\u201d<\/p>\n He added, \u201cThe only time you really think, \u2019is this song too personal?\u2019 is if you think about, \u2018is this going to be really annoying for the other person?\u2019 Because I do [care].\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
