\n\tThe Prince of Wales sadly won\u2019t be attending Taylor Swift<\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/a>\u2018s wedding Friday in New York City, but the heir to the British throne nonetheless made sure to offer some royal prestige to events.<\/p>\n \n\tIn the hours before today\u2019s festivities are set to start at Madison Square Garden<\/a> for music superstar Swift and her Super Bowl-winning groom Kelce, Prince William<\/a> made an unannounced appearance on the New Heights<\/a> <\/em>podcast hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother and ex-Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tAmong the tea spilled by William is that King Charles<\/a> \u201chates football,\u201d Harry Kane\u2019s World Cup<\/a> performance so has him well on the way to becoming one of England\u2019s all-time greatest players (possible knighthood?), and how \u201cthe president of the English Football Association\u201d intends to get Travis to attend the World Cup final July 19 if England is in it.<\/p>\n \n\tOn the flipside, the Kelces, who have become American royalty in more ways than one over the past few years (in part because of the podcast\u2019s success), were amazed they got their old pal Willie on the pod. \u201cWe thought were gonna be talking to, like, fat offensive linemen, not kings, queens, princes of other nations,\u201d Jason Kelce said near the end of the surprise 30-minute podcast that dropped this morning as the Swift-Kelce wedding media frenzy reached fever pitch<\/a>. \u201cThis is pretty wild,\u201d the ex-Eagle went to say.<\/p>\n
