Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> officially got married in the wedding of the century.<\/p>\n Swift and Kelce, both 36, said \u201cI do\u201d in a star-studded ceremony<\/a> held at New York City\u2019s Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3. Just after the pair exchanged vows, digital billboards outside the venue read, \u201cJusT&T Married.\u201d<\/p>\n Kelce first tried to meet Swift at one of her Kansas City, Missouri, Eras Tour<\/em> concerts in July 2023. After he failed to give her a friendship bracelet<\/a> with his phone number on it, he publicly expressed his disappointment on his and brother Jason Kelce\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast later that month. Swift ultimately reached out to Travis after several mutual friends vouched for him.<\/p>\n \u201cThere were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: Yo! Did you know he was coming?\u201d he recalled to WSJ. Magazine<\/em> in November 2023. \u201cI had somebody playing Cupid<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n In September 2023, Swift sent fans into a frenzy when she attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game<\/a> in support of Travis amid rumors that the two were dating. They confirmed their relationship the following month when they were spotted showing PDA<\/a> in New York City.<\/p>\n \u201cThis all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,\u201d Swift told TIME<\/em> in December 2023, adding that the pair \u201cstarted hanging out<\/a> right after that.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I\u2019m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,\u201d she continued. \u201cBy the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.\u201d<\/p>\n Although Swift and Travis quickly became the most high-profile couple in the world, he insisted in his September 2025 GQ<\/em> cover story that they have learned how to handle the attention.<\/p>\n \u201cWhenever I\u2019m with her, it feels like we\u2019re just regular people,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen there is not a camera on us, we\u2019re just two people that are in love<\/a>. It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out, but I would say that it\u2019s as normal of \u2026 It happened very organically even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cWhen I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with.
