Druski<\/a> wasted no time bringing his signature brand of comedy to the 2026 BET Awards<\/a>, delivering an opening monologue packed with celebrity roasts, callbacks to viral sketches, and one joke involving Stevie Wonder<\/a>.<\/p>\n The comedian opened the show by reviving his popular “Collect & Praise” church character, the fictional pastor who first went viral on social media for aggressively collecting donations from his congregation. This time, however, Druski set his sights on some of the wealthiest celebrities in attendance.<\/p>\n “We’ve got so many stars in the building whose net worths are blessed and who God has ordained to bless me,” he joked before pretending to solicit donations from the audience.<\/p>\n His first target was filmmaker Tyler Perry.<\/p>\n COMPLEX SHOP:<\/b> Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. I don’t care if it comes from you, Madea, or that mad black woman. Somebody better donate, amen?”<\/p>\n The jokes escalated when Druski turned his attention to music legend Stevie Wonder.<\/p>\n “Who else in the building? Who else? We got Stevie Wonder in the building. Put his net worth up there.”<\/p>\n As Wonder’s estimated $200 million net worth appeared on the screen, the graphic also included a Braille sign beside his photo, setting up the punchline.<\/p>\n “$200 million!” Druski said before pausing.<\/p>\n “Hey, hey! Shut up. He can’t see it. Shut up.”<\/p>\n The audience erupted in laughter as he continued the bit.<\/p>\n “That check is in Braille right there. That’s Braille! That check is signed, sealed, delivered. Damn right.
