El Paso families will be able to celebrate both America’s 250th anniversary and Independence Day on Saturday, July 4, with plenty of pomp and patriotism.<\/p>\n Families can kick off their Fourth of July by attending parades on the Westside and Eastside. Get those lawn chairs ready for fun with marching bands, clowns, classic cars and dance groups.<\/p>\n This year, there are plenty of events with fireworks at the end of the night to enjoy. The majority will be on Saturday. A couple of celebrations including the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso will have fireworks on Friday, July 3.<\/p>\n Here is a guide to the main events for a fun Fourth of July 2026 in the El Paso area.<\/p>\n Start your Independence Day weekend with a free holiday event from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, July 3 at Cleveland Square Park, 510 N. Santa Fe St. The second annual celebration will feature live performances by local favorites Vena Cava and The Ryan G. Band, playing a variety of jazz, pop music and country.<\/p>\n Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, enjoy food and beverages available for purchase from local vendors, and stay for a spectacular view of the fireworks display following the El Paso Chihuahuas game.<\/p>\n The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso is proud to be part of the official\u00a0America 250 El Paso\u00a0celebration, hosting the event\u00a0on\u00a0Friday, July 3, with a full day of free family-friendly entertainment, patriotic activities, shopping, and the property’s\u00a0first-ever\u00a0fireworks\u00a0spectacular.<\/p>\n The Revolutionary Figures & Fashion Show\u00a0by the Daughters of the American Revolution, Rebecca Stoddert Chapter, will be scheduled at the top of every hour from 12 to 4 p.m. The fireworks show is scheduled to begin at9 p.m.\u00a0and can be viewed from designated areas throughout the center and surrounding parking lots.<\/p>\n Abundant Church will host its 4th of July Freedom Celebration with a fireworks show on Friday, July 3, at the Abundant East and West locations: 1000 Valley Crest Drive and 7100 N. Desert Blvd.<\/p>\n The evening, starting at 7 p.m., will include worship and family-fun activities, followed by the fireworks shows.<\/p>\n The Elmont Swim Club is throwing\u00a0The Great American Night Swim\u00a0on\u00a0Friday, July 3,\u00a0celebrating America\u2019s birthday weekend poolside with fun for the whole family, including fireworks, food, music and more.<\/p>\n The\u00a0family-friendly\u00a0celebration will welcome guests of all ages for an evening of swimming, BBQ specials, live DJs and fireworks.\u00a0Guests who already have a day pass can stay all night, and admission\u00a0after 7 p.m. will be just $11\u00a0for those looking for a holiday weekend deal.<\/p>\n The Great American Night Swim will feature BBQ specials including pulled pork sandwiches, smoked wings, turkey legs, burgers and hot dogs, along with\u00a0$4 drink specials throughout the night.<\/p>\n General admission, VIP and cabana reservations are available at\u00a0elmontsocial.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Rotary Club of West El Paso’s 28th Annual Independence Day parade will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 4, at Western Hills Methodist Church, located at 530 Thunderbird Drive. It will turn left onto Thunderbird, then turn left at Shadow Mountain Drive, right onto Mesa Street, and proceed to Coronado High School.<\/p>\n The El Paso Del Norte Lions will be celebrating the 49th Annual 4th of July Parade starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 4, at Hanks High School on Lee Trevino and Montwood streets. The parade theme is the 250th anniversary of America. The parade will proceed from Montwood Drive to Yarbrough Drive, then north to Album Avenue, and finally to Album Park.<\/p>\n The America 250 festivities in El Paso will culminate with a free Independence Day celebration Downtown from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 4, at San Jacinto Plaza. The Randy Rogers Band will headline the celebration.<\/p>\n Fresh from competing on American Idol, El Paso’s talented singer\u00a0Julian Kalel\u00a0<\/a>will join the lineup.<\/p>\n Families can join in one of the biggest 4th of July events, America’s 250th anniversary celebration July 4 at Ascarate Park, 6900 Delta Drive. The event will feature an array of festivities, including food trucks, swimming, music, military vehicles and, of course, fireworks.<\/p>\n Food Trucks will be set up from 3 to 10 p.m. in the Special Events area on the east side of the lake within the park.<\/p>\n Ascarate Park will have a limited capacity of 2,000 cars to ensure traffic safety of all park visitors.<\/p>\n The Ascarate Pool will host a public swimming session from noon to 5 p.m. Admission: Adults $3, Youth $2.America 250 Commemorative Coin – The first 250 guests attending the event can redeem a commemorative coin marking the holiday\u2019s 250th anniversary at dedicated booths set up around the park.Picnic Party, which promises a spectacular view of the fireworks with the best seats in the park. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Ascarate Administrative Office: $45 adults (18+) and $10 youth (6-17). The ticket includes dinner from Clasico, a parking pass, door prizes, backyard picnic games and live music by \u201cThe Live 915.\u201d Children under the age of five do not require a ticket; however, a dinner plate will not be included. Doors open at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n The Fireworks will take place on the west side of the lake at approximately 9:20 p.m. Parking will be $5 per vehicle, and there will be no charge for those who walk into the park. Picnic shelters are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a picnic shelter, fees start at $50, and the deadline is June 30. Information: 915-273-3501. All reserved picnic shelters must check in by 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, to avoid forfeiting the rental. No refunds will be given for late check-ins. The park will close at 11 p.m. No alcohol or tobacco is permitted.<\/p>\n Families are invited to celebrate Independence Day from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 4, at Western Playland in Sunland Park, N.M. Spend the day enjoying thrilling rides, fun games, and good food with family and friends. Then at 9 p.m., look to the sky for the fireworks show.<\/p>\n The Wet ‘N Wild water park in Anthony, Texas, will have fireworks for July Fourth. The park will have extended hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Stay after for fireworks at 9 p.m. General admission tickets are $35.99 plus tax, toddler tickets are $10.16 plus tax, available at\u00a0wetnwildwaterworld.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Shoppes at Solana will have a Spirit of America celebration including fireworks on Saturday, July 4.<\/p>\n The event will feature live indoor and outdoor vendor markets (beginning at 11 a.m.), food trucks, water slides, patriotic activities, giveaways, shopping, dining, and entertainment throughout the day. Fireworks will start at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n The El Paso Chihuahuas will play the River Cats, starting at 6:35 p.m. Saturday, July 4.<\/p>\n Players will be wearing specialty stars-and-stripes jerseys that fans can bid on before the end of the 7th inning of Saturday’s game. After the game, winners can pick up their jerseys directly from the player who wore them.
