Country singer Jon Pardi<\/b>\u2019s estranged wife, Summer Pardi<\/b>, filed for divorce<\/a> almost two months before the couple publicly announced their separation, Us Weekly <\/i>can exclusively report.<\/p>\n

Summer, 37, filed to dissolve the pair\u2019s five-year marriage in Tennessee on May 12, according to court documents obtained by Us. <\/i>The influencer claimed that she and Jon, 41, separated one day earlier, citing \u201cirreconcilable differences\u201d as the cause for the dissolution of their marriage..<\/p>\n

Jon and Summer announced via joint Instagram statement<\/span><\/a> on Friday, July 3, that they \u201cmade the difficult decision to end [their] marriage.\u201d The now-exes, who share daughters Presley, 3, and Sienna, 23 months, shared their intentions to move \u201cforward with love and respect as coparents.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her divorce documents, Summer requested that the court allow her to be Presley and Sienna\u2019s \u201cprimary residential parent\u201d if she and Jon cannot reach a parenting plan.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tA slew of breakups rocked the celebrity world throughout 2026, beginning with Bill Hader and Ali Wong in January. In March, NFL quarterback Dak Prescott and his fianc\u00e9e, Sarah Jane Ramos, called it quits. News broke in April that The Real Housewives of New York City stars Sai De Silva and her husband, David Craig, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201c[Summer] would show that she is a fit and proper person to be designated as the primary residential parent of the parties\u2019 minor children,\u201d her filing reads. \u201cThe best interests and welfare of the minor children will be served by designating [Summer] as the primary residential parent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Summer also asked the court for an equitable division of the former couple\u2019s assets, in addition to \u201call of her separate property,\u201d and requested alimony from Jon.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Summer] would show that she is in need of spousal support, including but not limited to pendente lite and permanent,\u201d the docs read, alleging that Jon \u201chas the ability to pay.\u201d<\/p>\n

Summer further asked that Jon cover \u201cher attorney\u2019s fees and expert witness fees \u2026 and all further general and\/or specific relief.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jon has not publicly addressed Summer\u2019s petition for divorce. Us <\/i>has reached out to a rep for the singer for comment.<\/p>\n
