Beyonce has announced her first new song in two years.<\/p>\n
\nThe Texas Hold Em’ hitmaker revealed on Saturday (04.07.26) that she is releasing Morning Dew (Donk) in honour of the upcoming 20th anniversary of her classic album B’Day.<\/p>\n
\nThe track – which was written in collaboration with Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Darius Dixon – will start the 60-day countdown to both Beyonce’s birthday and the reissue of the album, which will include the song.<\/p>\n
\nMorning Dew (Donk) was said to have been an unreleased track from 2013 that later leaked in 2023 and gained popularity on social media, and an announcement about the news said its release is a “direct nod to her loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic celebration of B’DAY.”<\/p>\n
\nIn addition, Beyonce has teamed up with photographer Cliff Watts, who shot her 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover, to repurpose old footage into a black-and-white lyric video to accompany Morning Dew (Donk).<\/p>\n
\nThe former Destiny’s Child singer previously recalled the “decades of fighting with the promoters” she went through before selling out stadiums after her Cowboy Carter concerts series was named the number one highest-grossing solo tour of 2025, with the 32 shows having grossed around $407,600,113.<\/p>\n

\nBeyonce pledged to “stay focused” on her vision and hopes her concerts leave her audiences “reinvigorated and inspired”.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI continued to invest in myself and stay focused on the vision.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019m beyond grateful for my fans that have been a part of my journey.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s important to me that they leave the show reinvigorated and inspired, feeling more in love with themselves, and closer to the people they love.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Cowboy Carter Tour – which followed a residency-style format across nine cities and had a total attendance of 1.6 million – is also the highest-grossing country tour ever recorded.<\/p>\n
\nThe result marks another major touring milestone for Beyonc\u00e9. It also places her among a small group of artists with multiple tours clearing the $400 million mark, and the first American act to achieve this twice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
