Brew+ at Goole Market Hall has announced its exciting line up of events for the coming months.<\/p>\n
The venue, which is run by York-based Brew York under their \u2018Brew+\u2019 brand, was relaunched in early April this year after a \u00a34m redevelopment project as part of the Goole Town Deal regeneration programme.<\/p>\n
As well as live World Cup football, a rotating number of local bands such as The Numbers, Soul Revolver and Northern Velvet, Brew+ has also booked leading tribute acts paying homage to the Arctic Monkeys, Fleetwood Mac, The Killers and Oasis.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the venue also has made plans for a regular quiz night, \u201cpainting in the pub\u201d, business networking and the return of the very popular Northern Soul events.<\/p>\n
Sean Hill, general manager at Brew+ Goole Market Hall, said: \u201cThe people of Goole have really welcomed Brew+ and have given plenty of suggestions and requests for what we could do \u2013 and we\u2019ve listened. <\/p>\n \u201cOur events calendar is really shaping up and we\u2019re so pleased that so many organisations want to use this fantastic space. This is just an indication of things to come.\u201d<\/p>\n A notable inclusion in the confirmed events is Helios<\/em>, a touring art installation by renowned artist Luke Jerram, which will be at Goole Market Hall from 25 September to 5 October.<\/p>\n East Riding of Yorkshire Council is bringing Helios<\/em> to Goole as part of the busy, yearlong programme of events and celebrations taking place to mark the town\u2019s 200th birthday. <\/p>\n Measuring six metres in diameter, the artwork features detailed imagery of the sun\u2019s surface. At an approximate scale of 1:230 million, each centimetre of the internallylit spherical sculpture represents 2300 kilometres of the sun\u2019s surface.<\/p>\n Ryan Madin, programme coordinator for Goole 2026, said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to be bringing Helios<\/em> to Goole as part of the town\u2019s bicentenary celebrations.
