Amanda Kloots<\/strong><\/a> is continuing to honor late husband Nick Cordero<\/strong> six years after his death.<\/p>\n \u201cToday marks six years since Nick passed away,\u201d Kloots, 44, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Sunday, July 5. \u201cIf you knew him, you were lucky. If you didn\u2019t and you\u2019ve been following me, hopefully you have an idea of what a magnificent human being he was. Everyone loved him. He loved everyone. He truly lived life to the fullest, although it was cut short at just 41 years old. His face graced stages and screens, and his voice could be shrill like rock and roll or smooth like Frank Sinatra.<\/strong> He taught me to slow down. To listen to music. To be curious. To believe in myself.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cI know it might seem weird to say, but even though he is gone from this earth, I almost feel more connected to him spiritually now. It has made me believe that we don\u2019t have to say goodbye. We don\u2019t have to stop talking to the people we love. We don\u2019t have to close the chapter. It may look different, yes, but I feel closer to him now, six years after his death. He sends me signs almost daily. I ask him for them, he responds and I talk right back! Nick was always up in your business if you were his good friend or family, so it does make sense that he\u2019s still up in mine. \ud83e\udd79.\u201d<\/p>\n Kloots went on to ask those who knew Nick to \u201csend him some love today,\u201d encouraging others to \u201cpost a picture and share a memory so that we can once again lift up the man who lifted us all.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd as always thank you to every single one of you that sang his song Live Your Life with me for 95 days during COVID turning him into the rockstar that he always believed he could be. \ud83c\udf1f,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n Alongside the message, Kloots shared a slew of photos and videos featuring Cordero, pairing the compilation to Coldplay\u2019s \u201cFix You.\u201d<\/p>\n Cordero died in July 2020 from complications related to COVID-19. Months prior, Cordero was admitted into Los Angeles\u2019 Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and diagnosed with pneumonia before testing positive for coronavirus. The pair, who shared son Elvis, were married for two years<\/a> prior to his death.<\/p>\n
