But in the meantime, guests are revealing what it was like to be in the room where it happened.<\/p>\n The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony<\/a> at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, July 3, with Adam Sandler officiating<\/a>. Swift’s brother, Austin, served as man of honor, and Kelce’s brother, Jason, was his best man. The bride and groom wore looks created by Christian Dior Haute Couture<\/a>, with shoes by\u00a0Christian Louboutin. A common refrain was that the ceremony felt surprisingly intimate, despite taking place in Madison Square Garden with A-list guests ranging from Brad Pitt to Emma Stone.<\/p>\n Joseph Kahn, a filmmaker who has directed a number of music videos for Swift, said on Instagram<\/a> that the wedding “was so much funnier and emotional than expected, and as big as it was, it also felt very intimate.”<\/p>\n On “Good Morning America,<\/a>” Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan used the same word. “It really was intimate, wasn’t it, guys?” Roberts said, and Stephanopoulos agreed it was as “intimate as it could possibly be, given it was Madison Square Garden.”<\/p>\n Stephanopoulos described how it looked like there was a “garden inside the Garden,” which was “so beautiful,” and revealed the bride and groom read the vows they wrote for each other from “little books.” Roberts, meanwhile, confirmed Stevie Nicks<\/a> performed.<\/p>\n AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron, who Swift worked with for the release of her “Eras Tour” concert film, got surprisingly descriptive about the ceremony in an X post that he later deleted.
