Taylor Swift<\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/a>‘s extravagant Madison Square Garden wedding<\/a> had a strict no-phones policy \u2014 but one celebrity guest still managed to find a loophole.<\/p>\n Prior to the couple’s July 3 wedding, reports emerged<\/a> that guests were asked not to bring any phones into the venue where the ceremony and reception were being held. For those that did, there would be a mandatory cell phone check.<\/p>\n But on July 4, Sophie Charles \u2014 the wife of Dead Poets Society<\/em> and The Good Wife<\/em> actor Josh Charles<\/a> \u2014 revealed that she broke the rule.<\/p>\n “Snuck a phone into MSG,” Sophie captioned a video shared to Instagram.<\/p>\n In the clip<\/a>, Sophie playfully shows off a tiny gold flip phone pendant from her jewelry company, Mad Fine. Luckily, the newlyweds have nothing to worry about in terms of leaks because while the pendant is flippable, the website description clarifies the obvious: that it is “not a functional phone.”<\/p>\n Sophie isn’t the only one who had a funny takeaway from the no-phone policy<\/a>. Around midnight on the night of the wedding, Joseph Kahn \u2014 a frequent collaborator of Swift’s who has directed several of her music videos \u2014 shared a post on X about the joy of meeting Steven Spielberg and Willie Scott at the reception.<\/p>\n Josh and Sophie Charles One commenter then quipped, “someone finally got their phone back lol.”<\/p>\n To which Kahn joked, “I haven’t been without my phone that long since 1992.”<\/p>\n Around 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, news broke that Swift and Kelce were officially married, courtesy of signs outside of MSG that declared, “JUST&T MARRIED.” The popstar’s PR team subsequently confirmed via a statement that Adam Sandler officiated the wedding<\/a>, the bride and groom wore Dior, and their siblings acted as the only members of the bridal party.
