As a result, he doesn\u2019t feel he has close friendships in the music<\/a> industry, despite being one of the most popular artists on the music charts with more than a dozen No. 1 hits<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like I have more athlete friends than I do musician friends,\u201d he said. \u201cI feel alone in the music world<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n Shocked, Clark asked if there was some kind of country music<\/a> superstar group chat that Brown was involved with, to which Brown said, \u201cIf there is, I ain\u2019t invited.\u201d<\/p>\n Brown went on to explain that, though he knows plenty of artists, the friendships don\u2019t really extend beyond text messaging.<\/p>\n \u201cMorgan [Wallen]<\/strong>, he\u2019d probably text me the most,\u201d Brown said. \u201cShaboozey<\/strong>, Chris Young<\/strong> \u2026 [Jason] Aldean <\/strong>has been my guy. There are other artists that I could text, but there\u2019s a difference between texting somebody and being boys with somebody. \u2026 When you don\u2019t have somebody that you can talk to about that, and have a brothership over it, I don\u2019t know if I could really say we\u2019re friends.\u201d<\/p>\n Turning his attention to anyone who may be watching online, he made an honest plea for potential buds to reach out, saying, \u201cIf anybody\u2019s watching this \u2026 I just want a friend in the industry that we can just chill, come over, hit the golf sim, have a few beers, talk.\u201d<\/p>\n The topic of friendships came up again as the \u201cHeaven<\/strong>\u201d singer shared insights into his friendship<\/a> with NFL<\/strong> quarterback Patrick Mahomes<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s awesome that my job\u2019s got me where I can hang out with Pat and just be friends with him,\u201d Brown said. \u201cPat\u2019s a cool dude. He\u2019s normal.
