Beatles legend Paul McCartney performed \u201cI Want To Hold Your Hand\u201d at Taylor Swift<\/a> and Travis Kelce\u2019s wedding Friday at Madison Square Garden, 62 years after it was last performed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cAfter the ceremony, Taylor\u2019s mom Andrea invited everyone into the reception room where the stage was set up,\u201d a source reportedly told People<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n People also reported that McCartney and Stevie Nicks both performed. McCartney performed the Beatles\u2019 No. 1 hit, and according to Rolling Stone<\/a>, the last known performance of \u201cI Want To Hold Your Hand\u201d was Sept. 20, 1964, at a Beatles concert at Paramount Theatre in New York. McCartney\u2019s rep did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n McCartney and Swift have had a long friendship. In 2020, they appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone\u2019s Musicians on Musicians<\/a>, where the two singers spoke highly of each other\u2019s work. Before that, they had performed together at various parties. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n McCartney has also said<\/a> he sees the \u201cparallel\u201d between the Beatles\u2019 and Swift\u2019s fame.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Swift and Kelce\u2019s wedding was a star-studded event with more than 1,000 guests in attendance. Adam Sandler officiated<\/a> the wedding, and other stars<\/a>, like Gigi Hadid, Paul Rudd, Nelly, Conan O\u2019Brien, Hugh Grant and more, were there to see the couple tie the knot.
