Additionally, Sky News and ITV News will stay editorially distinct going forward.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement further includes $2.8 billion in content spend with ITV Studios over the next five years, while Sky will acquire \u201cThe Great British Bake Off\u201d\u00a0producer Love Productions as part of the deal.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately $267 million in annual cost savings are expected to be generated on a run-rate basis by the end of the third year after the deal\u2019s closing. The majority will be delivered through efficiencies in marketing, technology platforms and non-U.K. content.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-the-wrap-read-more\">\n<div class=\"the-wrap-read-more__container\">\n\t\t<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"the-wrap-read-more__image\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/industry-news\/business\/the-ledger-shamrock-capital-comcast-nbcuniversal-split\/\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThis is a defining moment for British media and an opportunity to build a stronger future for two of the U.K.\u2019s most loved and trusted brands.
