To celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States, the fair is introducing a Fair Fan Pass. The pass offers gate admission for the entire run of the fair. Only 250 passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be purchased at the official state fair website.<\/p>\n<p>Talley Amusements will return as the carnival ride operator. The event will include live entertainment, music, traditional fair food and unique attractions.<\/p>\n<p>The fair features the largest livestock show in Louisiana. The Louisiana Rodeo Cowboys Association Finals Rodeo is scheduled for Oct. 30 through Nov. 1.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">The State Fair of Louisiana began in 1906. Officials will continue safety protocols established in 2023. These measures include surveillance cameras and a strictly enforced clear bag policy.
