Ironically, Shuter also reported<\/a> basically the opposite, in that many people at the wedding admitted they weren\u2019t close to the bride and groom, to the point that guests were asking each other, \u201cWhy are we here?\u201d That means not everyone invited was someone the couple knew well.<\/p>\n

In fact, the wedding was even compared to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle<\/a>\u2019s royal wedding, where many people were invited despite having no personal connection to either. This isn\u2019t that surprising for celebrity weddings, but it does throw the reports that Harry and Meghan wanted to be there and were denied into doubt.<\/p>\n
