Amy Lee is having one of her busiest years in recent memory.<\/em><\/h2>\nWhile Evanescence<\/a><\/em> <\/strong>continues its North American tour behind the band\u2019s acclaimed new album Sanctuary<\/em>, Lee <\/a><\/em><\/strong>has also opened up about the behind the scenes battle that almost changed Bring Me To Life<\/em> forever, released a haunting new film score, and is preparing to bring Evanescence back to Australia and New Zealand in 2027.<\/p>\nSpeaking with CBC\u2019s Q<\/em>, Lee revisited the label pressure surrounding the band\u2019s breakthrough hit, revealing she feared the song\u2019s success could ultimately define and limit the band:<\/p>\n\u201cMy biggest fear was that we were gonna be a one-hit wonder, that people are gonna hear that one song that was different from everything else that we were ever gonna do next,\u201d<\/em> she explained (per Blabbermouth<\/a><\/em><\/strong>).<\/p>\nLee reiterated that the now famous guest appearance from Paul McCoy wasn\u2019t the band\u2019s vision:<\/p>\n
