Ryan Seacrest<\/a> was one of the stars who received a coveted invite to Taylor Swift<\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/a>\u2018s wedding, but he had to pull out after previously RSVPing.<\/p>\n The Wheel of Fortune<\/em><\/a> host revealed the news on Monday\u2019s (July 6) episode of On Air with Ryan Seacrest<\/em><\/a>. \u201cTravis and Taylor got married. I had to keep a secret from you,\u201d Seacrest told his co-hosts. \u201cIt was a confidential invitation to everybody that was invited. So when you were doing your reports about the wedding, I was just on the inside screaming, outside very composed.\u201d<\/p>\n His co-host, Tanya Rad, was excited to hear all the details until Seacrest broke the news that he couldn\u2019t go. \u201cI RSVP\u2019d to go, and then Disney hired me to do the Fourth of July 250 special on the 3rd and the 4th, so I had to cancel,\u201d the American Idol<\/em><\/a> host explained.<\/p>\n Fellow co-host Sisanie Villaclara called it \u201ca waste of an invite,\u201d but Seacrest fired back, saying, \u201cNo, it wasn\u2019t a waste. I was actually really excited. I was kind of torn.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like you could have done both,\u201d Rad said.<\/p>\n \u201cNo, trust me, I went through the minutes. I couldn\u2019t have done both,\u201d Seacrest replied. \u201cAnd the actual wedding was in the afternoon. I went through the minutes! We\u2019re gonna have the best time. It\u2019s gonna go late,’\u201d he recalled. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018I cannot wait. I\u2019m so excited.\u2019 I met Travis for the first time, actually. He was sitting in the booth next to me.\u201d<\/p>\n The restaurant meeting only added to the awkwardness of the cancelation. \u201cI RSVP\u2019d yes. I saw them a couple of weeks later to confirm. Then I had to cancel,\u201d Seacrest said. \u201cBut I had no choice.
