The album will feature a plethora of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-lists\/best-punk-albums-1235538842\/green-day-dookie-6-1235539066\/\">Green Day classics<\/a>, as well as four previously unreleased live recordings from the band\u2019s performance at the Palladium in Los Angeles that\u2019ll be featured in the movie.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAdditionally, the soundtrack will boast new music from the fictional group at the heart of <em>Nimrods<\/em>, Analog Dogs. There\u2019s also music from some of the actual artists appearing in the film, including Ultra Q, the Paradox, and McKenna Grace.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe <em>Nimrods <\/em>soundtrack is set to arrive July 31 and will be available on CD, cassette, and streaming, with several vinyl variants to boot. The film centers around Analog Dogs, a young pop punk band who travel to Los Angeles under the belief that they\u2019ve won the opportunity to open for Green Day at a special New Year\u2019s Eve show. Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, and Ryan Foust star as the members of Analog Dogs, while the cast also boasts Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, and Fred Armisen.
