Singer Lauren Bennett<\/strong> had a \u201csevere reaction\u201d to a medication months before her death<\/a> at age 36, her father revealed.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is with a broken heart that I share the loss of my beautiful and talented daughter, @laurenbennett, the love of my life and my pride and joy,\u201d Richard Bennet<\/strong>t wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Tuesday, July 7. \u201cLauren was an incredible person and artist: creative, talented, funny, and as humble as she was beautiful. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and made a lasting impact on countless lives through her music, her kindness, and the way she made people feel.\u201d<\/p>\n Richard added that Lauren had a \u201cspecial gift\u201d from an early age.<\/p>\n \u201cShe began performing professionally at just 12 years old, and watching her grow into the artist she became was one of the greatest joys of my life,\u201d he continued his tribute. \u201cHer achievements in the music industry were beyond our wildest dreams and continue to make me so proud.\u201d<\/p>\n Sharing insight into her final months of life, Richard explained that Lauren had \u201cexperienced a severe reaction to a prescribed medication.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAs a family, we all rallied around her and did everything we could to support her,\u201d he wrote, emphasizing that Lauren\u2019s loved ones \u201chave no suspicions regarding the circumstances of her death, only deep disappointment that, for five months, medical professionals and NHS services failed to treat her appropriately during her time of greatest need.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cLauren was deeply loved and will be missed every day for the rest of our lives,\u201d Richard noted. \u201cI hope she will be remembered for her remarkable achievements, her beautiful music, and the incredible person she was. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, her family, and through the music she leaves behind.\u201d<\/p>\n Lauren\u2019s dad concluded, \u201cAs we navigate this unimaginable loss, we kindly ask for privacy and respect as our family grieves.
