Kristin Davis recalled rushing home to watch rough VHS cuts of Sex and the City<\/em> episodes during filming<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n In a recent podcast, Davis said all of the cast members “had a different take” on the show<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Davis said she would “run home” to watch the show<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Kristin Davis<\/a> is recalling the early days of filming \u2014 and watching \u2014 Sex and the City<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n “They would give us a VHS,” the 61-year-old actress recounted in a new episode of the Dinner’s On Me<\/em><\/a>podcast with Jesse Tyler Ferguson<\/a>.<\/p>\n She continued: “And we would run home \u2014 I would run home at least \u2014 I can’t speak for everyone. We all had a different take on it. Maybe we got DVDs eventually. I only really remember the VHS, though. So sometimes it would have like a placeholder. It wouldn’t have a special effect. It wouldn’t have music, right? But, you know, was so curious to see what had worked, what had made it in, you know, all of the things.”<\/p>\n Sex and the City <\/em>debuted on HBO in 1998, starring Davis, Kim Cattrall<\/a>, Sarah Jessica Parker <\/a>and Cynthia Nixon<\/a>.
