\u201cBussin\u2019 With The Boys\u201d podcast cohost Will Compton<\/strong><\/a> can\u2019t help but laugh at how \u201cseriously\u201d some people took his remarks about being snubbed from Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s and Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cFlabbergasted at how many people took this seriously,\u201d Compton, 36, wrote via X<\/a> on Tuesday, July 7, alongside a link to TMZ<\/em>\u2019s story about him being \u201cflabbergasted\u201d after he failed to receive an invite<\/a> to Kelce, 36, and Swift\u2019s star-studded Madison Square Garden nuptials<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Compton \u2014 who has known Kelce for years, as they are both involved in Tight End University<\/a> \u2014 further explained, \u201cA couple media outlets reached out directly, asking if I\u2019d go on record, if I\u2019ve spoken [with] Travis, if there are others that are upset.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former NFL player called the whole situation \u201cinsanity!!! \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02,\u201d claiming, \u201cI was just busting balls\u201d when he made his initial comments.<\/p>\n

Compton made headlines on Monday, July 6, when he called into the \u201cWake Up Barstool<\/a>\u201d podcast to talk about Kelce and Swift\u2019s Friday, July 3, wedding in New York City.<\/p>\n

During the episode, host Dave Portnoy<\/strong><\/a> pointed out that \u201call of Tight End U\u201d went to the ceremony \u2014 except Compton and his \u201cBWTB\u201d podcast cohost Taylor Lewan<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

While Compton and Lewan, 34, have worked with Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, at the annual three-day football camp<\/a> for years, he claimed not getting an invite didn\u2019t hurt his feelings \u2014 at first. (Compton and Lewan also emceed the \u201cTight Ends & Friends\u201d concert at the event, which is hosted by Kelce and NFL stars George Kittle<\/strong><\/a> and Greg Olsen<\/strong><\/a>, in late June.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Swift and Travis Kelce are remaining tight-lipped when it comes to their highly-anticipated upcoming nuptials \u2014 but that hasn\u2019t stopped, well, the world from grilling their nearest and dearest friends for any and all wedding details. Ever since Swift and Kelce got engaged in August 2025 after two years of dating, the celebrity world [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna be honest, I didn\u2019t think nothing of it,\u201d Compton said of the alleged slight on Monday as he called in from his vacation in Italy. \u201cAll these photos I keep seeing, I see [sports writer] Dean Blandino<\/strong> got an invite. Is that real?\u201d<\/p>\n

Compton had spotty reception while calling from the treadmill overseas, so some of his conversation was cut from the broadcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I\u2019ve been seeing these photos of everybody else at that wedding, I am pretty flabbergasted that we didn\u2019t get the invite,\u201d Compton added.<\/p>\n

After Compton\u2019s remarks started to pop up on different outlets, he rolled with it, poking fun at those who did make the cut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever seen Dean Blandino at Tight End University<\/a>,\u201d he wrote via X<\/a>, alongside a story about him being flabbergasted over the Fox Sports rules analyst\u2019s connection to the groom.<\/p>\n

Former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel<\/strong> then responded<\/a>, \u201cDon\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever seen @_willcompton throw Kelce his first NFL TD \u2026 even in preseason,\u201d referring to his time on the Chiefs with Kelce and teasing Compton in the process. Compton reposted Daniel\u2019s joke via X.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Compton also made another joke about his jab over Blandino, 54, getting an invite over him and Lewan.<\/p>\n
