Ewing and Bo Bichette on base in the bottom of the first inning, Carson Benge hit a ball back to Kansas City starter Seth Lugo, who tossed \u2014 off-balance \u2014 wildly past first baseman Jac Caglianone as Ewing ran home.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Caglianone then threw the ball back toward third and hit nothing but the third base dugout.
