\n\tKylie Cantrall <\/a>is entering a new era with the release of her upcoming EP, Valley Girl Problems.<\/em><\/p>\n \n\tThe Disney<\/a> star\u2019s latest project is set for release on July 24. Valley Girl Problems<\/em> is an eight-track EP that marks a new chapter for the Venezuelan-American artist, as she continues to transition from her acting career and her role as Red in the Descendants<\/a> <\/em>franchise to becoming a household name in pop music.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe EP\u2019s lead single \u201cCarrie Bradshaw\u201d was released in April, while other tracks include \u201cGrwm,\u201d the title track, \u201cCloset,\u201d \u201cGirls Like U,\u201d \u201cYuck!\u201d and two interludes titled \u201cThe Problem\u201d and \u201cThe Answer.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI\u2019ve always heard people say, \u2018Write what you know,\u2019 and that\u2019s exactly what I did with this EP,\u201d Cantrall said of the project. \u201cValley Girl Problems<\/em> truly captures everything I\u2019ve experienced over the last year and how I\u2019ve embraced this new chapter of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tValley Girl Problems <\/em>was produced by Tricky Stewart \u2014 known for working with artists such as Rihanna and Tyla \u2014 and written alongside Tayla Parx, who co-wrote the song inspired by the iconic Sex and the City<\/em> character and is a hitmaking co-writer for Ariana Grande, Panic! at the Disco and more.<\/p>\n \n\tThe release of Valley Girl Problems <\/em>will follow Cantrall\u2019s return to Descendants: Wicked Wonderland<\/em>, a sequel to The Rise of Red, <\/em>debuting July 16 on Disney Channel. The Disney production marks the fifth installment in the Descendants<\/em> franchise, in which she portrays the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, played by singer Rita Ora.<\/p>\n
