Abha will be home to Saudi Arabia<\/a><\/strong>‘s first entertainment destination developed by Saudi Entertainment Ventures (Seven), with the project set to open on 5 August.<\/p>\n

Turki bin Talal Al Saud<\/strong>, the governor of Asir, will inaugurate the new entertainment destination on 5 August, the Saudi Press Agency has announced.<\/p>\n\n

Seven, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), is investing SAR 50 billion ($13bn) in the development of 21 entertainment destinations across 14 cities.<\/p>\n

The Abha location<\/a><\/strong> has been designed to reflect the city’s natural and cultural identity, also providing entertainment experiences such as interactive attractions, arcade games, gathering spaces, and retail and F&B experiences.<\/p>\n

Highlights in Seven<\/a><\/strong>‘s new sites will include indoor golf courses, bowling lanes, state-of-the-art cinemas, Hot Wheels-themed electric karting, world-class thrill rides, and edutainment centres.<\/p>\n

For its entertainment destinations, Seven has secured partnerships with companies including Mattel, Hasbro and Warner Bros. Discovery.<\/p>\n

Seven previously unveiled a new Transformers<\/em> -themed coaster<\/a><\/strong> for three of its entertainment destinations in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah.<\/p>\n

Seven\u2019s 21 entertainment destinations will be located in Riyadh, Kharj, Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, Dammam, Khobar, Al Ahsa, Madinah, Yanbu, Abha, Jazan, Buraidah, and Tabuk.<\/p>\n

Per a press release, Abha is one of the kingdom’s leading tourism and cultural hubs, and the new attraction<\/a><\/strong> reflects the continued development of Saudi’s Aseer region.<\/p>\n
